How long does the mosquito & tick barrier treatment last?

The application on average will have 75-95% effectiveness for 21 days after each application.

How long does it take to do the barrier spray treatment?

A typical treatment will average about 20-30 minutes. Larger yards may take longer to treat.

What areas do you treat on my property?

Our goal is to seek out the “hot spots” where ticks and mosquitoes like to hang out. Most common areas are the undersides of leaves, dense shrubbery, under decks, long grass and in damp shady areas of the property. We recommend you keep your grass short during tick & mosquito season, but we will still spray your grass if you have elected for us to treat ticks.

Is the treatment effective against any other pests?

Our standard treatment primarily targets mosquitoes, but is also effective at reducing the number of ticks in your yard. Flies, Gnats, and Midges are also affected, but the residual attribute of the product is not effective at long-term suppression for these insects.

Does anyone need to be home when the yard is treated?

No one needs to be present at the time of treatment. As long as your gate is unlocked and your pets are inside, our technician can treat. Our trained professionals will obtain any information pertinent to your location when you sign up for our service.

How will I know if the treatment was done if I’m not home?

Your technician will leave a detailed treatment form on the front door upon completion. Information on this form will include the date and time of service, the chemicals used during the visit, as well as any comments or helpful hints the technician may have to help you keep your property as pest free as possible before your next scheduled visit.

How much does your service cost?

Each property is unique and we customize each barrier spray application based on the size and density of the foliage on your property and the amount of product we will need to use. You can contact us at any time to get a free quote from one of our trained technicians.

Do you service Commercial accounts?

Absolutely, our barrier sprays are a great solution for many businesses. Some examples of current clients are: restaurants with patios, parks especially with playgrounds or swim areas, campgrounds, resorts, golf courses, sports fields, day cares, outdoor wedding venues and more.

What if it rains after my yard has been treated?

As long as the product has had approximately 30 minutes to dry, the rain should not impact the effectiveness of your service. If however you are not satisfied with the effectiveness of the treatment please contact us within 5 days of your treatment to schedule a respray.

How long before I can go in the yard after you have sprayed?

You need to ensure that the product has completely dried before going outside, approximately 30 Minutes, once dry you and your family are safe to enjoy your property.

Will the treatment affect my fish pond or swimming pool?

Pyrethroids are hazardous to fish. As a result, our technicians are trained to avoid fish ponds when treating your yard. Our products do not affect swimming pools; however, our technicians are also trained to not allow the spray to come in contact with the pool water.

Is there an all-natural treatment option?

Absolutely; however, we do not typically use these methods due to the increased cost of the products, increased number of applications and general ineffectiveness as the organic alternatives are considered pest deterrents but do not eliminate the mosquitoes or ticks
